Terms

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These Terms govern access to the public Creaptor website and its browser-based media tools. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully, responsibly, and only for content you have the right to handle.

Who provides the service

Creaptor is a solo project built, run, and maintained by me alone. In these pages, "Creaptor", "I", "me", and "my" mean me as the operator of the public Creaptor website and browser-based media tools.

Acceptance of the terms

By accessing or using the public site, you agree to these Terms and to the related Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, your remedy is to stop using the site.

Eligibility and lawful use

Use the site only in compliance with applicable law and only with media, rights, and permissions you actually have.

You are responsible for the files, content, metadata, and instructions you choose to process through the public tools.

Your files and your rights

As between you and me, you retain rights in the files and content you choose to process through the tool flow.

Using the service does not transfer your ownership to me. It only gives the product the limited technical permission needed to run the browser-based workflow on your device.

Prohibited uses

You must not use the site to infringe intellectual property rights, process unlawful content, interfere with the service, or abuse the public product.

  • Do not use the site with content you do not have the legal right to process.
  • Do not use the site to bypass DRM, access controls, or other technological protection measures without authorization.
  • Do not probe, attack, overload, scrape, automate against, or otherwise interfere with the public site in a way that harms the service or other users.
  • Do not upload, send, or share secrets, credentials, malware, or clearly malicious payloads through the service or the published email contact path.

Browser-only limitations

Performance depends on your device, browser, available memory, selected files, chosen settings, and the complexity of the requested operation.

Some jobs may fail, stall, or work better on a current desktop browser than on a low-memory, mobile, or in-app browser environment.

No promise of uninterrupted availability

I may change, pause, remove, limit, or discontinue parts of the public site or tool catalog at any time.

I do not guarantee that every route, preset, format, or workflow will remain available in its current form.

Third-party services and links

The public site may rely on third-party hosting, analytics, and monitoring providers. Email correspondence also depends on email providers.

The site may also contain links to third-party resources. I do not control third-party services or content and am not responsible for their separate terms, privacy practices, or security posture.

Intellectual property in the site

The site design, branding, text, copy, graphics, code, and other public site materials are owned by me or used under license unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not grant you a broad license to copy, resell, mirror, or commercially exploit the public site materials outside normal personal or internal evaluation use.

Operational telemetry

The site may use optional analytics and monitoring vendors to measure product usage, diagnose errors, and improve service quality.

Those systems are not the same as the local browser-side media-processing path and are intended not to collect file contents or raw file names in the normal workflow.

Disclaimers

The public site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

I do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for every purpose, compatible with every file, or suitable for regulated, safety-critical, or high-stakes use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the public site.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs, validating quality, and deciding whether a result is suitable for downstream use, publication, or commercial distribution.

Suspension and termination

I may suspend, rate-limit, or block access where I reasonably believe the site is being abused, misused, attacked, or used in violation of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms requires me to keep any public route or workflow available for a specific user or use case.

Changes to the terms and contact

I may update these Terms as the product, policies, or legal posture evolve.

When I do, I will update the published version on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
